Just wondering if anyone has come across this car?

It's up for auction at the moment. I am interested but there is no info as to who undertook the conversion.

Possibly a Topcats car?

It also doesn’t say when it was don, an mot check shows that it hasn’t done many miles for a few years, maybe since the rebuild and it doesn’t work so well ??

Was that “Speed Eight’s” car. His was a small block. Although I assumed it fit in the chassis properly. This doesn’t look like it does.

There were other V8 conversions which sit even higher from Steve Heath “engineering”.. rofl

Incredible. I can’t believe that was a real bid, not someone bidding it up.

It’s a proper dog, with an air filter housing poking through the bonnet rofl

The Auction itself was a bit odd. Just as it looked like ending the Seller extended it by a few minutes. This was done 5 times.

With all the problems, and an engine that doesn’t sit low enough in the chassis, I’d say 16k was generous!

That's a standard feature of that classic auction site.

It's not like ebay.

That was my first thought, whoever considers that to be worth £21,250 needs a check up from the neck up!

Sorry to resurrect a thread but i see this Tuscan is up for auction yet again at Car and Classics

I actually quite like the idea of a non TVR engined Tuscan but this one looks a bit shoddy, and C & S haven't responded to my queries. There is also no contact phone number.

All very odd, anyone know any more about this car ?

Here's a link:

Huge added tacho probably because they couldn't get the original electrics to give engine speed I suppose. Huge added toggle switches, seats a bit shabby. I've see LS conversions in Cerberas done neatly, this isn't!
