Hi all,

I've got a X3 M40i and I am wanting to get the backbox modified so it makes it a bit louder while still retaining the valve function so i can make it quieter.

I see PCW mods do them but they're 3.5 hours away and wondered if A. anyone has had this done and B. Have you had it done anyone near Yorkshire?

I did this in my m235i.
I would assume the x40 exhaust will be very similar

Yep that's spot on what I want to do however the guy i saw said the exhaust wasn't the same and he'd not done one before so I feel a bit unsure whether to pull the trigger or not.

You could try Powerflow, however depending on whether you have OPFs or not the answer involves deleting them. I was under the impression the 40i already has a performance exhaust.
