We’re back in Austria, which is always fun. Max will dominate, but expect Aston to go well here as it sorts out its recent upgrades.

They really should have pushed that qualifying session by an hour or two. Sunset is as late as it gets this week, and they’ll not get the usual TV audience boost if everyone’s still at work.

Thanks for the thread PiaP, can’t really see anything other than a MV win, unless there are unusual circumstances, rinse and repeat of what has become a forgone conclusion this season.

Not exactly been a stellar year has it frown

Why no Alonso in the poll?

Thanks PiaP!

Another wafty-win for Max in the rocket ship... Plus a record hat-trick "ooops" moment when he falls asleep he is so glazed over with boredom...

Max usually wins here in a normal season, let alone one where he's fully dominant.

As above, formality barring some obscure DNF/Mechanical
Max by a fair way in front of P2 (on cruise trying not to show their full hand/how quick they really are)

Won’t be tuning in for anything but the spring this weekend, rest I’ll view on YT highlights and pop in the thread for the BTS drama!

Pleasant viewing all, hope the fight for the rest is enjoyable

Probably a Redbull 1-2 again, Mercedes to be best of the rest.

Wouldn't it be interesting if somebody other than MV was to win this race?

Weather looks shocking for the duration at the moment.

I went for a Perez win, because I feel like he has to do something soon. No logic applied there.

Other than that, I like the thought that this could ironically be the only place on the calendar that RB don't win at. Rebrand, The Aston Martin Ring!

We can only dream....

Can't see him not winning every remaining race this season.

Yes it would but it probably needs a mechanical failure, a weird race that rains just at the wrong time for him or one of his occasional lapses in concentration to end up in a calamity ... and, even then, there is always a chance (seemingly decreasing) that Sergio would just get the win at that point.

Thanks for the thread as always - Gone for an Alonso win, I also think Lance will either have a complete implosion here and throw it at the grass or he will get on the podium!

Doesn't Bottas go well here? If so he could be on course for a decent finish building on Canada be good to see him get some momentum together.

Fingers crossed for a quiet end of the day at work Friday, I-pad on the desk time!

Will definitely be a Max win. Perez might do OK but will be interesting to see how the pressure is getting to him. Fingers crossed Williams can bag a few points here, not likely but there's always hope with the faster circuits. It would be great for them to bag another 2 or so points! I'd like to see a good battle for 2nd / 3rd between the Mercs and Alonso too, never know stroll might actually grab a point at this one too hehe

Ignoring Max and a probable win - there's a couple of drivers that are racing for more than a win - their careers. Perez, deVries and even Stroll have quite a lot of weight on their shoulders this weekend.
