Sorry if wrong forum.

I have just ordered this Induction filter for my 2014 Mazda 3.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/394443322765

Just wondering if anyone else has used them, and what they think of it.?

Also, do you think the insurance company won't accept it?

Cheers
Bob

Drill some holes in the airbox, probably better result and save £270!

Really? Thanks for replying.
Where in the airbox would you recommend drilling the holes?

Mighty car mods did a pretty good review on intakes recently. Worth a look. Conclusion was don’t bother unless you are going to do a custom map and supporting mods.

That looks like quite a good kit, with the filter shielded from the hot air.

Thanks guys.
TBO, I'm a bit miffed at the torque (acceleration) of this mazda.
so that's why I've looked at this conversion.
Does it really need a re-map? It doesn't mention that in the blurb. :-)

You're going to be even more miffed once you realise £270 hasn't fixed your problem. Get another car.

You’ll probably loose torque as well as power just putting on an intake and doing nothing else. Spend the money on Tesco 99 if you aren’t already.
