Engine Conversions, Tuning, Modding?

A few of us got together and thought we needed something a little more and thought it would be great to start a website to go hand in hand with Pistonheads but more dedicated to technical banter, tuning, modding and engine upgrades/conversions and also keep track of our personal project details/pictures etc.
When you sign up, you get your own gallery to upload piccies and create sub-albums etc. Your own blog to let others keep track on your progress. And a forum with a very flexible search facility and also the ability to directly upload images into your posts.

The site complements the more 'advanced' PH'ers online arsenal. It is a non-profit site and hopefully we'll build a global tuning/techie community there.
So come along and get your project listed and recognised, the information you put up and share will help others and definitely push others in the same direction.

I'll look into the folder thing, hmmmm....
already working on the Firefox thing... didnt know Firefox was very popular, it renders quite a few sites poorly.... (anyone out there able to put me in the right direction? it seems to be the frontpage only that goes all funny in firefox)

More likley firefox renders according to the standards, and microShaft doesnt but everyone codes to micro$haft !!!

I'm stuck, dont have a clue what I'm doing wrong by firefox... can you have a look at the html and let me know??? please???
Using Firefox here, seems to be OK generally, but the BHP World page layout looks screwy. The text "I was lucky enough" etc isn't line wrapped, the box it is in is about a million miles wide, the menu on the left is scrunched up to quarter of an inch wide. If I click on the box, the page changes and the text comes out line wrapped and nicely formatted. I guess the initial page is supposed to show a synopsis of the article not the whole thing?

I was thinking that pete, but I aint got the foggiest here... I just dont get why Microsoft IE would work with it, I'm pretty sure I'm not doing anything fancy in there... hmmm... I wont give up till I've sorted it... dont want to ruin firefox users viewing pleasure.....

Yup thats exactly what I should have written except I was knackered last night and didn't bother
SXS - if you want to mail me the HTML I can take a look for you. Probably won't have time tonight though but if you can wait I'm more than happy to sort it.

Using Firefox, the front page menus are OK now, but the main section does not wrap at the window width and so is about 2 and a bit screens wide when fullscreened on my 1600x1200 monitor
Looking at the source it looks like you're using Mambo to author the pages, with a copyright date of 2000, which is before Firefox came out. Perhaps a newer version will produce Firefox compliant pages, or it may be that it only does Internet Exploder compliant pages
Firefox is pretty popular now; most people I know use it as their primary browser.
