Gents,

Looking to get a something cheap, passably sensible and fun little car of a classic sports car type and a GT86 seems the way forward.

Seen this today:

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202305277...

Compared to anything else it's suspiciously cheap, one owner etc; it's a long shot but does anyone here know the car?

That does seem cheap. It’s a van dealer so is VAT included?

Unless you live close enough to go and look over the car I think I'd leave it.

If you Google the company many of the reviews are extremely bad.

It says 1 owner. But it did just 17k miles in the first 3 years then almost 40k in the last 2. Could be due to covid I guess but it's a bit sus. And why so cheap? Other similar ones are 19k or so.

If it is good then I'm surprised that someone on here hasn't thought so too this morning and already bought it. Anything (not unreasonably) that a trader can take a margin on seems to last a very short time.

Doesn't mention service history so perhaps there is none.

Dealers, even van specialists, know what a car will retail for. So very cheap for a reason I suspect.

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):

£3K cheaper than its closest rival on price.

Alarm bells would be ringing for me.

Cheers all; going from SFA to 20kpa seems very odd with the same owner... Indeed there's quite a lot here to raise eyebrows.
