ND whine

I am on my third MX5 - a sport Recaro 2.0 2016 this time. 19k miles

I have noticed a strange whine/generator/whirr type noise when pulling away or when turning at <5mpg in first gear only, it goes away any more than a few mph and I only noticed it when in low speed / 1st and turning like a car park etc. Does not do it out of gear and can't remember my last ND 2.0 acting this way, any ideas on a possible cause.

It's has had all the regular services etc and is otherwise faultless.

I also have a 2016 Recaro Sport, and I think what you can hear is the rear diff, they are LSD on the Recaro and occasionally I hear a noise at low speed normally when in a Multi story car park with no music on. Recently had the diff oil changed and it made no difference.
