My 225XE is three years old and it is offering the a “connected booster” subscription for £69. It describes it as follows:

“BMW Online with current news and weather, and Real Time Traffic Information with up-to-the-second traffic reports
Remote Services incl. Remote 3D View* makes controlling your BMW even easier
eDrive services make charging your electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle a breeze”

I’ve noticed the traffic icon in maps in the car now says “TMC” whereas it used to say “RTT”.

Can anyone explain what I get for my money please. I’m not particularly tech savvy.
Thanks

You may have noticed you also can no longer use quick search (full postcode) for address input.

Basically, RTTI is Real Time Traffic Information and as described is far more accurate and effectively ‘live’.

I don’t care about any of the other features but I re-subbed for RTTI.

Thanks. I noticed exactly that tonight regarding using quick search for postcodes. I agree with you, I think I’ll take it up for the live traffic.
