Weston Beach Lawns

Well the hundreds of wooden posts around the beach lawns worked well. Two mysteriously got cut down and the Irish caravan club coincidentally arrived at the same time. Just driven past and they look well settled.
This is after they left Uphill cricket club, trashing practice nets and leaving rubbish everywhere. The Police wouldn't help as it was trespass on private land, so the CC had to use a private security firm to shift them. They are currently crowd funding as I imagine it wasn't cheap.

Appears so. The CC said they could wait for eviction orders, but they could see the damage being done, so bought in contractors.What is so annoying about the beach lawns is that they didn't even bother to break the padlocks on the gates, they sawed through the posts to prove a point.

They have left now thankfully, although only moved to another part of Weston. Apparently the person who damaged the posts has been found and fined, which I'm sure will be paid. The council are still saying the posts are an effective deterent, as there have normally been more Irish caravan club encampments by now.
