Any recommendations?

Need a knocking sound from the front of my Renault Sport Megane 275 diagnosed and fixed. Can't get hold of my usual place (Select Motorsport). Think they might be in process of moving to a new place in Oxford. Tried a Renault dealership near work (Weybridge) who completely failed to fix it banghead Need someone decent but it can't be that hard!

Try https://www.autosolutions-newbury.co.uk/ Mike Butler`s place is just off the A4 on the Reading side of Newbury.
I`ve known him for years, a highly skilled master technician.

Alan at AC Mechanical Repairs is very good, he’s on Loverock Road in Reading. He looks after all my petrol cars for me. https://www.acmechanical.co.uk/

Bit late but JTech in Emmer Green is second to none. Very high level of attention to detail.

I also used Matt @ Select but he completely butchered my E46 M3 (never had issues when it was only him working) and he couldn't be bothered to sort it prior to giving it back. He recommended I take my car to JTech funnily enough who were also sorting cars he'd left in poor states.

That's not great. Sounds a very similar story to the place I used to use.

I did eventually get in touch with Select and get my car to them, but I really appreciate the tip RE JTech. Same side of town as me so could be handy.

Funny glad I’m not the only one who’s been messed around by Matt @ Select. Blokes an absolute joke in all honesty.
