Wheel refurb before sale

Would you bother getting wheels refurbed on a 16 year old car prior to advertising?

About to advertise our E91 330d, with the correct MV3 alloys on. They were refurbished 3 years ago, no buckles or cracks. Since then my other half has caught one of them, and a garage scratched one fitting a tyre, and on it's last service it looks like brake clean might have been left on to dry and it's discoloured them in a few places.

So, would you advertise as is and ensure the price is £200 less, or spend the £200 or so they will cost to get re-dipped and powdercoated?

I'd advertise as is but without the deduction. Gives room for negotiation then, but I'd guess most people would expect some sort of scuffs to be present on a 16 year old alloy.

No; more so as everyones tastes are different

Knock off £150 and that'll do it

The new owner can get them refurbed and shod with whatever tyres they choose...

Confirmed my thoughts, i'm also tight for time at the moment to get then done.
