F355 0-100 time
Discussion
This leads me onto another good question.
What is the correct 0-100 time for the 360???
Autocar have this figure at 8.8sec for the 360 F1.
This time is faster than that recorded for the 911 Turbo (9.4sec) and all the Lambos except the Diablo GT (8.7 sec).
However, when Top Gear tested the 360 Spyder they could only get a time of 11.something or other.
I know the 360's a fking fast machine, but can they really do 0-100 in 8.8 seconds as per Autocar.
Is there much difference between manual and F1 or Berlinetta vs Spyder

I agree with Basher, I think its probably closer to 9.5 but Ferrari only claim 10 point something(can't remember exactly). With these cars though, as they don't really have much torque, you really have to nail it hard, very early. First one down wins. Me in 355 v Kevin in 360, 360 was leaving me, Kevin in 355 me in 360, Kevin was leaving me!! . You really have to down on the power early in these cars otherwise you miss the opportunity.
I thought 8.8 was a little quick, but what the hell it's still one rapid car, and these figures are pretty meaningless anyway.
Interesting little exercise that Ninja. So it's more down to the driver than anything else hey??? You would think the 360 would win hands down every time being lighter & more powerful, but I guess that's not the case.
Yet another example of Kev's excellent driving abilities

Ninja doesn't do himself justice here: this wasn't a drag race; it was on roads in my area that I know very well. The first time we met, we were alongside one another in Hatfield tunnel in 2nd gear and on a signal we both floored it. We were neck and neck until I changed into 3rd when the 360 pulled ahead by a car length or so.
The last time we went for a hoon for instance, Ninja in his 355 was awesome. I was in the 360 on swoopy backroads I know like the back of my hand, not holding back at all, and Ninja was staying with me. In the hands of somebody who knows what they're doing, the 355 is a bloody fast car and dynamically very competent.

I hope you were being sensible in the Hatfield tunnel. I know of serious damage being done by car exhaust. In fact road tax is increasing to pay for structural damage done by either earth tremours or ???
