Buying new car - Engine bay has surface rust

Hi guys wondered what you all thought about the condition of the engine bay only 60k miles, 57 plate and mot was put on recently to 2024 too.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like it’s been sitting idle for a long time !
Does MOT check suggest it’s been used in recent years?

Hey it's a 57 plate with a fresh MOT

Was only doing a couple hundred miles a year

Yes, but minimal miles few hundred per year for past couple of years. Just had a new mot recently too.

about what youd expect for a 57 plate , nothing there to overly worry about , its underneath you need to worry about
