Just to share with you some info here. Recently i had some issues with my car going out on an extended 'test drive' whilst being serviced by a Porsche dealer.
Unfortunately, the Porsche app for the 991 series is pretty crap, in fact unbelievably sh't considering what we pay for it, for example each time you check the last journey it adjusts the time stamp of the last journey to the last push of data from the car, and if multiple journeys are in a similar timeframe it just slaps them together in one journey. Ive been informed by a friend of mine, via his BMW M5 app he is able to replay detailed journey telemetry of the car including speed etc?

Anyway my point being i had an issue where i needed to know where my car had been. If you are UK based and have a contract with Vodafone to track your car, you can politely email them to request the raw historical data of a day. The information supplied includes longitude/latitude speed engine status time and date.

You can then manipulate that data into a readable format for example to import into google maps and plot out movements of your car at given times supplied. If anyone needs more info about that happy to post up some examples.

Right so what happened to your car. Damage? Ticket? Mechanic sacked? Would improve this thread immensely.

You can set Speed Alerts at whatever speed you wish, the system then send you updates saying when the car is travelling over say 30 mph every few minutes. When it does so it also sends a location.
