who is the best for parts supply ?

i now have a nice big shopping list of bits i need for my new toy
where is the best place to buy stuff from ?
workshop manual with wiring diagrams etc being the most urgent

You need a Steve Heath book for starters. TVR Car club, or sometimes Ebay.
TVR parts . com have all the old TVR parts bought from TVR to sell on... Check the website....
I can scan the revised diagrams which I found in my glove box if it helps. What do you need?

TVRCC for the second edition bible and join the club while you're about it

Workshop manual the nearest thing is the Bible, Steve Heath's book on the S series available from the club or from www.tvrbooks.co.uk/

For parts I've used David Gerald (www.davidgeraldtvr.com/), TVR Car Parts (www.tvrcarparts.com/pages/default.asp) and Tower Hill (www.t-v-r-services.co.uk/) and they've all been helpful.

thanks for the offer to scan and send diagrams i'll take whatever you have that's relevant to a 92 v8 and be very grateful
when buying tvr bits is there any advantage in trying to work out which bits are off which other cars and get them from a ford suplier for example or are the tvr parts prices reasonable ?

Depends on what you need..... some parts are TVR specialist parts... so use TVR carpart for example... a good motor faxtors can get you Ford equivalent running gear.../ brakes etc... or parts for your Rover engine...

I have found the parts list useful and I haven't used Ford main dealer yet!! Although I did use a DAF truck centre for the replacement indicastor lenses!! (sherpa truck!!)

Best bet is just to post the question... the answer will come along soon after...

I've got a '92 V8S and have found the wiring diagram in Steve Heath's S Series book for the 4.0X Griffith
as the best starting point for V8 electrics.

Just remember that lights, column switches, etc, will be Ford and grafted to a Rover engine loom.
