All day today I've had the theme song to bloody "Champion the Wonder Horse" echoing around my skull. I have absolutely no idea why and it's driving me nuts biggrin

I never watched the programme as it annoyed me. I haven't thought about it, seen an episode or heard the song for maybe 40 years, but suddenly it popped up while I was preparing food for Sally the brown-eared dog and it got...stuck.

What are your disliked tunes that somehow get stuck in your heads?

Stupid Champion the Wonder Horseheadache

Instead I Wrote A Song. Totally useless song which deserved its comeuppance at Eurovision, yet it keeps popping into my head.

It's a bit odd reading your comment - because of all the songs there are, I use `Champion the Wonder Horse` to purge a song which gets stuck in my head - like `Chiquitita`.

Uh-oh. We must never meet, it'd be the same as crossing the streams.

Speaking of 'osses, I find myself singing the theme from Mister Ed to myself quite often.
I have come up with some filthy new lyrics for it though.

Couldn't get '10 More Years Declan Rice' out of my head while I was cleaning out the garage this morning.

I took it as a sign that he's definitely going to leave.

“And no-one would pork a horse, of course”??

I’m sure that used to be the alternative version.

OneRepublic - I Ain't Worried. Seems to turn up everywhere and that whistle is incredibly hard to shift when it gets stuck.

Have the full version for which I claim copyright.

Altogether now...

A horse is a horse, of course of course,
and no-one would pork a horse of course.
Even if the particular horse
was the famous Mister Ed.
Don't go to the source and pork the horse.
He'll give you a kicking with lethal force.
You'll wind up on a slab of course.
if you pork Mister Ed.

And serve you right.
