My brother needs the above.

Decent size
Reliable
ULEZ
Under 80k
Not too expensive to run
Powerful enough for motorway commute (20miles)

Ideas I have had from a quick search….

Mondeo 2.3
C180k
E90 320/325
Toyota Avensis
Skoda VRS

Any other ideas / views on the above? Not really my area of knowledge.

Thanks

Honda Accord Estate (gen 8) would be a great pick

reliable petrol engines, plenty of space and lots of toys if you get the EX version. I'm currently considering the saloon version and have come across plenty of estate versions in the process, you'll get a nice one that ticks all your boxes for about 6kish

I'd go Accord as well. Subaru Legacy would be up there too, or maybe a Mazda 6

Have you considered a Skoda Superb?

We've just got a 2014 Tour De France model. Manual, 2l diesel which has been chipped by Celtic Tuners, and 4 wheel drive.

It's great and also enormous inside.
