My car came back from its MOT on Monday and as often happens stuff when someone else drives your car settings had been fiddled with, eg, seat on the furthest back setting, air-con and radio switched off etc... However, I seem to be missing the remaining miles on tank figure and the clock, which are usually on the top line of the standard information displayed in the main instrument panel. This is a pre LCI 2014 F30 BMW. The total miles, outside temp and overall trip miles are still there.

I've toggled through all the settings on the i Drive and checked the owners manual, but no idea how to get it back. Any ideas? I find it hard to believe that the driver or MOT tester would have known how to remove this. Its odd!

Yeah I have just found that out now, after going through a number of BMW forum posts! That explains how the driver turned off the display without realising! Didnt even realise myself that button was there. Pushed the button once and hey presto the clock appeared.
