Can’t speak for Porsches, but I’ve seen the air traffic arrival schedule, and there’s a few pilots and helicopters I know.

Should be an interesting event. I honestly don’t believe there is any supercar that can hold a candle to the capabilities of a nice turbine helicopter.

In what respect? Speed? Acceleration/g? Manoeuvrability? Looks?

In fairness, you can travel in a straight line and land in a field. And look pretty cool when you arrive (assuming you’re flying it yourself…)

If you drive a supercar in a straight line you'll probably end up in a field too.

Most of those - but sound (turbine), sensational handling, versatility, panoramic view, A to B performance….

The problem with any ‘roadcar’ is the dependence on ‘roads’.
In the UK these are a constant frustration - mainly terrible, poorly maintained, condition, gridlocked, congestion, roadworks, poor traffic management, speed limits ….

Can’t disagree with the road opinion, but I can do without the whine of a helo. Handling depends on the helo type but you’d get more g, speed and acceleration out of a car (in the right environment of course). Great view though, I’ll grant you that. Versatility is up there too (certainly compared to fixed wing), but you need the weather to play ball, which, along with the roads in the UK, is pretty pants.

Suppose this event will give attendees the chance to compare the virtues of both.
And raise some money for charity.
