Tyre rim gouges

Annoyingly got a nail through the sidewall of one of my rear tyres. I have a spare part worn (exact same tyre) but it has some gouges in the rim.

It is a write-off?

That looks like excess rubber where it was squeezed out of the mould. The rim will be the raised profile.

Take it to a tyre shop and ask them.

They are well inside of the sealing surface, no problem.
