My car went in to the bodyshop today for the new clam and Larini Sports Zorst to be fitted and had a discussion about replacing the standard diffuser with the 111s style one, would have to pay 200notes for the parts but if i did it now i wouldn't have to pay for fitting.

What should I do???

Please keep in mind I will be getting a 111r if all is well in the not too distant future.

Thanks

In that case why bother changing the diffuser? Save your cash.

Edit:

Will you get £200 worth of performance out of a diffuser? Doubt it.

I think you have missed the point. As just1 has explained to me he is still keeping the 111 (with the clam and 'zorst), He is getting the 111R and the wife is getting the 111. Confused?

He will be the 2 'liz family.

My approach would be to forget the new diffuser for a while. Have a look at the set up with the old diffuser then if you really hate it, change it.

No one has looked at my cas and said "nice diffuser" it only looks bad if it is missing or bodged. It doesnt really add "value" to the car.

Yes thanks gooby the Sports zorst is going on regardless and its likely that Mrs just1 will probably either have the silver liz or possibly the new Europa and i will get the 111r early part of next year.

I Know that the upgrade in terms of performance is virtually nothing but was really to improve the car cosmetically, to complement the new tail pipes.

I am only looking at the moment because i would not have to pay for the fitting if i do it now!!

Diffusers actually serve a purpose don't forget rather than just looking pretty!
