Hi guys,

I'm now a proud dog owner. I've been driving my LS460 for a year now and absolutely love it. The issue I have is the dog is outgrowing his small travel crate and he'll have to go in to a medium sized one, then eventually no crate at all.

I have a budget of £25k.

Will need to be SUV/Hatchback/Estate

I want it to have effortless power, so 350+ BHP

Petrol

Comfortable and wafty, something we comfortable seats you sink in to and a good arm rest. I don't want it to have hard crashy suspension, I have other cars for that.

The immediate option is of course a Range Rover, but anything else I should consider?

BMW X5. I had the same dilemma with a ever growing dog and the X5 is perfect with the split tailgate.

I’ve just bought a 4.2 V8 Cayenne as a wafty dog ride, diesel, but it’s very impressive and sounds like a proper V8.
