Best value paddock hospitality packages
Discussion
I was looking at F1 (and MotoGP) paddock hospitality packages where you get to spend the whole weekend at a team's hospitality suite, meet drivers, see some of the action in the garages etc.
What is the best bang for your buck, in terms of team and GP? Thought I would include MotoGP as well for a similar experience and perhaps a little bit cheaper?

Several tens of millions will get you full bore team hospitality at races. Plus, you'll get a sticker on the car
No team as far as I'm aware offers punters the opportunity you seek. Race Weekend hospitality is reserved for the teams, some media and sponsors. Red Bull used to offer hospitality packages at the Pre-Season Testing that did get you into their motor home and garage for a little while but not at race weekends.
The closest you can get is the Paddock Club. This is normally located above the garages and comes with all usual refinements and you get to mill about at the back of the garages (but not in them). If you fancy this for Silverstone; that would be just shy of £7k each: https://f1experiences.com/2023-british-grand-prix/...
I have no idea abut MotoGP but would be surprised if it's much different.

$30k!! As close as the OP could get though I suppose and.. price aside.. plenty of once in a lifetime type experiences.
That’s a lottery win purchase for my daughter and I for sure.
hmm that's a bit dear
saw this which looks comparatively good value (but Moto GP obvs): https://www.sporttravelworld.com/sporttravel-speci...

I did a lot of Paddock clubs at one stage.
As with F1 in general the vast majority of the space is reserved for team sponsors and there may be a genet section for pay people at some vast expense
There is much less access if you are not in a sponsor section and it is not worth it.
.
Each team typically has an additional section where smaller numbers of guests get to meet the team’s drivers, and there is also a general briefing . Covers all three days.
If you really get to know a team you might just get into the working area-I once met Frank Williams and Patrick Head that way.
Then there is the really tough get- a starting grid pass that lets you out in the track driefly when the cars are lined up at the start. Only got that once.
Of course VIPs get a completely different deal.
After the race if you’re quick you can get down in front of the podium.

I’m slowly building up my points in the hope of doing this in the next couple of years. I do a few Hilton stays but it’s mostly points transferred from other loyalty programs.

OP, the best option for getting up close to top level motor sport at low or even no additional cost beyond the entry ticket, is Word Endurance. No Silverstone sadly this year but Le Mans (if you can find a ticket) and Monza coming up.
Free access to the paddock (apart from at LeMans) and most teams will let you have a peer in the garage. The Paddock Club area above the garages is usually free access (though no sumptuous lunches). Plenty of ex F1 drivers milling about.
Even at LeMans you can sometimes blag your way to places that even sponsors would be tackled to ground to prevent in F1.
This was 2019... didn't have a press pass. Vaguely knew someone working catering who asked one of the team if I could sneak in to take a few pics, 'sure...go ahead'. This wasn't practice either!

MotoGP is much cheaper than F1. F1 is in a price league of it's own.
The most expensive Moto package for all 3 days it's £1,600 which is on the terrace at the new hotel. The roof of the hotel is about £50 less. Some of the packages are far less money at other locations at Silverstone and include a paddock tour.
Don't forget that unlike the last few years, where Moto used the Heritage Pits and thus the old start-finish, with Copse as the 1st corner, this year they are using the Wing and the International Pits and start-finish, just like F1.

My boss had a friend who worked for McLaren, whenever they had free space he'd get a call to ask if he fancied it absolutely free (flights/hotle etc all covered).
He's previously joined teams calls from preseason testing to wind the less fortunate of us up
Find yourself a friend in F1
A friend of my gf works for the RB foundation/charity and attends GPs quite regularly, still waiting for my invite…He's previously joined teams calls from preseason testing to wind the less fortunate of us up

We did a teams event like this a few years ago at Misano which included Moto2 pre race grid walk and podium ceremony access plus watching the race in the garage. Was a lot of fun and got to see many riders close up.saw this which looks comparatively good value (but Moto GP obvs): https://www.sporttravelworld.com/sporttravel-speci...
Much cheaper than F1 and still a great experience.
My daughter works in F1 and she has failed many many times to obtain a spare pass for me. I have given up on her ever being able to obtain one.

Jeez, that’ll go for well over a million HH points. You’ll get 2 weeks in the Maldives for that! I was in a garage last year for the BGP thanks to a family member who works in the team. Experience was really cool and I was incredibly lucky. I wouldn’t part ways with £30k or a million Hilton points for it. I haven’t been to Paddock Club - seems cool, but again the value is questionable for the limited access that provides albeit the Champers and Sandwiches are included... Give me a good grandstand seat over Paddock Club any day!!I’m slowly building up my points in the hope of doing this in the next couple of years.
