Firstly, thanks to Sandpit Steve for last week’s threadbeer

Onwards to Miami. Last year seemed more about spectacle than substance, which seems to sum up where Liberty is taking F1 these days. Good to see a step forward for Ferrari in Baku, without any upgrades, so perhaps they are beginning to understand the car. Expect a Red Bull 1-2 , most interest will be about whether Checo can keep up his recent form.

Just to note, the practice times look a bit random, but I did check them.

Here’s to a great race.

Date(s): Friday 5 May to Sunday 7 May 2023.

'highlights' from last seasons GP here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bixit7nxYE4

Also the very memorable and chaotic grid walk, sure to be repeated this year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaHhOtAhlBM

After the most unexpected second Red Bull 2-1 of the 2023 season, can we expect another?

Can Charls bag another pole here? On his way to meet Rene Arnoux‘s less than illustrious pole to victory tally.!

Can Alpine get Tripod and Dopey to score some points?

Will Nando finally be able to unleash El Plan?

Can we get Yuki to the podium (he’s been superb so far).

Xxx

Thank Pig, hope the peddling went well.

I don't think anyone is going to bet against the Red Bull cars just vanishing away at over a second a lap on race day.

The Merc/Aston/Ferrari battle behind however I think will be very close.

Red Bull 1-2 once again barring any drama's. I think Alonso will be back on the podium again this weekend though.

Thanks Mr Poke!

We can't be more than 2 races away from Max and Checo having a coming together?

Another street race means another procession? I remember it being very dull last year.

Sure there will be safety cars for the slightest break down / wall nudge but these are becoming increasing dull.

I really can’t wait until we’re at a proper circuit again.

This, once it happens the fun and games will begin smile

Unfortunately the red bull management are unlikely to unleash a 2016 season on us all again.

They will clash. MV, if he comes off worse, will explain his innermost feelings to the press. Back at RB motorhome, there will be another clash between Perez and everyone else. It'll be fun over.

It's going to be a Redbull 1-2 unless something thoroughly unexpected happens. It will be interesting to see if Perez can keep the pressure on Verstappen, and if so how Verstappen and Horner react.

As ever, it will be interesting to see who gets "best of the rest" and this time without a sprint race spoiler.

This weekend is going to be such a tacky cringe-fest. Same with Vegas.

Just this, another long straight and RB dominance of speed with DRS means it's hard to see past a 1-2 for them. Perez won't be allowed another win for a while winkbiggrin
