4 Series Adaptive dampers

I am looking to buy a 440i Gran Coupe, a 2018 model year.

One of the options I am looking for is that it has the adaptive dampers. Is there an easy way to confirm a car has this option fitted? Is there a setting in the idrive that only the adaptive cars have, maybe in the Sports mode configuration settings?

I am looking at a car this week which is advertised as having adaptive dampers, I want to be able to confirm that it really has!

You’re looking for option 2VF. However, the ride/handling on standard LCI cars is a massive step forward (which a 2018 would be) and I genuinely don’t think you need it. I tried quite a few with/without it when I was looking.

Well, I don't think it is anyway, just picked up a 435d Gran Coupe at the weekend, Jan 2017 build, M Sport with 19" run flats, and I think it handles our terrible roads pretty well.
