OMG - really hope the baby is ok and doesn't suffer anymore than it already has, as well as the mother. What on Earth bring people to this?

I seriously hope that said 'youth' never veers to close to me for his own safety...

'bout time for some serious displine in our country.

Has anybody else felt that twinge of anger and rage at reading this story?

If I saw this happen, personally I would lay into the bastard and would accept any consequences that came my way. But God, would it be worth it. He wouldn't walk again.

I don't care how many GCSEs he may or may not have achieved today - the little scrote needs a kicking to within an inch of his life.

Wish I'd seen this happen.

Sadly that is exactly how I felt and what I would do - not proud of it but...

Where are all the scum coming from ? Is it me or do they seem to be every where these days ?

With any luck the baby will forget about this, being so young, i imagine the mother will probably be scared to venture outside alone for quite a while though.

Words fail me over the attack

Sadly, you'd be amazed at exactly how many crimes like this simply go unreported. Nice world we live in, innit.

Pardon my cynicism in the judicial system, but I think more and more people are doing these things because the know they'll probably get away with it.

Get a pathetically lenient sentence I take it you mean. If so, I agree. That is of course, assuming plod aren't too busy loading up a Gatso to even attend the scene.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. Resources in the judicial system are stretched to unbelievable proportions and often the offenders that commit 'lesser' (in their eyes not mine) offences are let off with a metaphorical slap on the wrist so that the ‘bigger’ offenders can be dealt with. Similarly, in Child protection cases, social workers that I know of are working 15 hours days with a dangerous amount of charges in their care. The resources are too stretched for the service they provide to work to the best of its ability.

Rant over

i felt the anger come up through me,the attack on that little girl was f****** dispicable and the little shit who did it should be tied up to a chair and the parents allowed to pummell the forever-loving shit out of him (no holds barred - with any weapon/tool they wish)) and shown at prime-time on every tv channel!

Of course he will

Key fact in the article 'youth aged 14-16', even if he is caught I doubt he will get a custodial sentence.

These people are dangerous animals and they know they can do what they like with impunity.
