Hi All

Appreciate these are very much a white good for PHers (me included perhaps!) but wanted to start a thread anyway as it'll be useful for me to document any issues that might help other owners. Maybe even discuss some of the positive aspects!

The car is a 2022-registered 'new' Long-Range, Midnight Silver with 19" Sport Wheels.

We chose this car as we wanted to get back in to an EV for the family duties. We had a Model S from 2018-2021, so are comfortable with the Tesla brand.

Spent a few hours at the weekend cleaning it up (it had been stored since pre-reg in December '22 I think). Added a replica Performance spoiler and removed the Dual Motor badge (I always prefer clean back-ends).

I wasn't 100% sure about the colour before we ordered it, but it's lovely in the sun. Just need to keep it clean.

I think everyone knows how quick these are generally so I won't ramble about that. Only to say it feels quicker than my S even though the 0-60 is the same at 4.2s. Effortless straight-line performance.

The tech is all really good as you'd expect. No doubt I'll get frustrated with the auto-wipers (triggered via camera rather than rain-sensor), and the lack of reverse beepers (3 camera views instead), but I'm looking forward to many years of cheap motoring with this.

The audio system is really quite good for a standard setup and compares well to the Audison in my RS Megane (without the bass). As it's a LR I think it has a couple more speakers than the SR.

Pleased with it so far and will update this thread when anything of note happens!
