F10 M5 lost HUD

Any ideas why I’ve lost HuD and setting the time from my idrive? The battery has been changed and assigned to the vehicle

Simple things first: Did you press the button to the lower right of the steering wheel? Or do you mean that the HUD option is no longer available in iDrive at all?

It’s no longer available. It’s not the switch.
It’s almost like the idrive has turned it off as I can’t adjust the settings anymore. Ie brightness and height etc
