I think it lists the main pieces, but can choose something else not on the list. My son learned Turkish March for fun last year, so thought it'd be a good one to add as a last minute fourth piece for the video exam rather than face-to-face exam. He can include it but they might fail him if they deem it to be a lower standard than g7, and unfortunately they won't let him know in advance if it will be acceptable! He might have to just choose another from their list to learn fast!

In the book you can buy it only has 9, but as you can see on the syllabus the actual list is longer.

All pieces played must be from the same syllabus.
I’ve had a quick scroll through both and can’t see Turkish march, so he definitely would not be able to play that.
