Tyre pressure warning light - any advise?
Discussion
Apologies if this topic has been covered previously, but I'm having an issue with a tyre pressure warning light on my 2022 A110GT. The warning to adjust tyre pressure appeared. I checked the pressures - all good. But it won't let me reset the system. I've read and re-read the manual and gone through the process as directed but no joy. Maybe I'm being thick. I haven't consulted the dealer yet. But has anyone else had this issue? Any advice welcome.

Have you tried driving a mile or two on straight roads after resetting?
I don’t have my car yet, so not even sure of the reset procedure, but I imagine it works on detecting different rotational rates between wheels to determine that one is under inflated, and might need the drive to recalibrate?

If it's the same as on my Megane you do need to drive it round the block to reset. Try all the previous suggestions (it sounds like you have) and then wait: the electronics seem a bit buggy. The stop/start function didn't work on my MY 2022 Legende yesterday, but may do today. Or may not (Gallic shrug). Just as the satnav went mute for a couple of hours despite following the handbook to the letter on how to unmute it; it reset itself when it was good and ready.
Of course it could be that a wheel sensor (and/or whatever picks up its signal) has failed, in which case it's a dealer job...

Not teaching you to suck eggs, but stop/start won't work if the battery is too low. Of course it could be that a wheel sensor (and/or whatever picks up its signal) has failed, in which case it's a dealer job...

Mine is exactly the same.....i might try disconnecting the battery.

The car gets frequent use -not quite every day, but close to it- so I'm not sure the battery is low; there's always the possibility of 'that' alternator problem, but a) it's a MY 2022 car (did the fault affect earlier cars more?) and b) I'm due to drive to Devon and back (from St Albans) in the next few days, so would like to stay in denial if I may...BaggaZee said:
This is driving me nuts. I checked & adjusted all pressures to 29psi, which, according to the door sticker on my 2022 S, should be fine but ever since the tyre pressure warning is there and it won t allow me to reset it.
Tyre pressure SET unavailable .
Anyone sorted this?
Propably the pressure difference is too high so the system blocks the reset. Inflate them to 33 psi, drive a couple of miles and then try to reset again. If the warning disappeares you should reset in steps with 31 and finally 29 psi.Tyre pressure SET unavailable .

I know this item as it occured 10 km after I picked up my new car from the Alpine store.
The sales man told me, that sometimes one of the sensors is lazy and does not connect to the system properly. As a result the warning comes and the system cannot be resetted.
From the expert in the workshop I got the following recommendation through the sales guy:
- Inflate the pressure on all wheels to more than 3 bar (43psi). This can "wake up" the lazy sensor .
- Drive just a few 100 meters.
- Then reset the system.
- Reduce the pressure to normal value and reset again.
This procedure was successful in my case.
If it would have been not successful, I was told that a system reset with their tester in the workshop i required.

So, much to my amazement, over-inflating to 33PSI and going for a drive has turned off the warning light.
I was then able to reset the tyre pressures in the menu.
Next I’ll drop a few PSI at a time and keep resetting and hopefully get the the point when I’m no longer driving around cart wheels.
Will update on how this goes.
