No that was a 996GT3RS , this is the 993 GT2R ........we are racing these now as a group (And I nearly outbreaked myself following into the chicanes after we both overtaken a car we’d got held up by through the previous corner.)

It has just had a full re-build , and maybe overfilled ? Was driven by Emmanuel Pirro so him and Tom Christensen were playing games , Slowing down to let the pace get further ahead and then having drag races to catch up ...but great fun ...It will be racing at Spa in a few weeks with Sam Hancock . There will be a full grid of 63 cars racing into the night , epic . Yes Porsche asked for me to be on front row or more my car lol

As you say this is a stunning machine yet people fixate on 986/996 headlights, which I find rather odd. I love them.
