Free SMS sites online??

[v15ben]

Does anyone know any site where I can send SMS messages for free to people in the UK. I am currently in Australia and although texts are cheaper here than at home, I am a cheapskate student!
Does anyone know of anywhere?
I can survive the spam they will bombard me with but possibly not the viruses if they come!
Anyone??

Google for SMS Gateway

I used to use Genie and you can do it from the Orange.co.uk website.

Boltblue do as well, but I think you've got to register....

Thanks for that guys, very quick response!
Registered on Boltblue and hopefully it'll work

Bugger - they do not accept any mobile numbers from outside the UK and as I do not have my UK sim with me, I am unable to get the required TIN code to complete my registration.

Does anyone know anywhere that accepts Aussie (or Singaporean) sim cards?
