Thought it improved over the course of the episode and will definitely give episode 2 a go.

I'm 2 episodes in and enjoying it. I'm kind of seeing it more as a black comedy rather than a Happy Valley substitute.

It was a bit Police Academy, and not sure how realistic, but the street stand off scene was pretty tense.
The undercover cops wern't conspicuous at all with thier plumby English accents...
Will probbaly watch the next episode to see what happens.

I’m impressed how the Audi and Peugeot both have a Skoda steering wheel!

I think this has got some legs especially portraying the difficulties of policing Belfast. If it concentrates on the four probationers then there is a decent mix with I suspect some inside knowledge of the system, if a little overplayed:

1) Male graduate. Fast track scheme. Tim 'nice but dim' charachter
2) Female. Fast track scheme. Already clear she doesn't want to go out or get involved with any 'hand on' stuff so I suspect her efforts to 'climb the greasy pole' will take on a different meaning to achieve her aim
3) Female mature entrant. Bringing life skills from challenging social services background.Wants to make a difference.
4) Female boyish (if you can say that these days) charachter. Probably not averse to farting in mixed company but not to the point she'll try to light one up.

As an Ulsterman I'd personally like to apologise for the accent and acting as wooden as Tullymore Forest. It's absolutely atrocious, I'd put it somewhere between Hope Street (sorry, again) and BBC Doctors.

What I find funny is that PSNI stations in these shows are low security counters with sliding doors off a main street. The reality is they are like fortresses behind high walls.

I'm 4 deep and think it's brilliant. Right up there with Line Of Duty for me, really intense stuff.

Watched Ep2 last night and think they have nailed the dark NI humour spot on.

I just finished it. Much much better than I expected.
I'm not sure about the stop-and-search line though. It appeared to be just a box-ticking distraction.
How often did the script call Grace to say 'what'?
