I am after some recommendations on what to get next.
I do about 300 miles a week so can't be too thirsty but can't be a slouch either.
Also got a baby on the way later this year so will need some practicality.
I don't mind petrol or diesel.
I have to say the Insignia in SRI Nav spec is the pick you'll get a nice modern car (as an example these have better NVH than the Octavia) with more than enough space for a growing family:I do about 300 miles a week so can't be too thirsty but can't be a slouch either.

Volvo C30 ?
Bigger doors seats slide right forward.
Guess it depends on if your a 1 car family. I had a 3 door and the wife had the 5 door for holidays, pram etc.
I’d say a phil and ted pram would fit in a C30. I had an Alfa 147 with my kids when they were in baby seats.
