997.2 C2 "squared" exhaust tips on 997.1 C2 - anyone tried?

Hello all,

I have a 997.1 with the normal C2 base "squared"/oval exhaust tips. I dont like them however, because they are too small for the bumper space in which they fit -

However, I like the shape, because it is a way to identify the proud owner of a base spec C2. I was hence wondering if anyone has fitted the 997.2 C2 base exhaust tips (squared) in a 997.1 Carrera and if they fill in nicely the exhaust tip space in the bumper without being too big?

I know that I need a diameter adjuster (60 --> 50mm), but that I am prepared for, I am just thinking of the fit against the bumper.
