Seems he's been made an offer by another team. Any bets as to which?

Just putting it out there - he was at Renault while Alonso was there. He switched to McLaren just after Alonso did, then moved to Ferrari a couple of years after Alonso.....

The suggestion on the McLaren thread, was that he’s heading back there - although perhaps, if he has a history of following Alonso around, it could well be that Larry Stroll has got to him. Didn’t AM hire the chief aero guy from Red Bull last year?

Certainly McLaren need his services more than AM do.

I think the Alonso link is a red herring. Sanchez had stayed at Ferrari since Alonso left in 2014, rather than following him back to McLaren or Renault, so they haven't worked in the same team for nearly a decade. I don't think AM need him anyway since they already have Dan Fallows in that role, and seemingly doing an ok job...

Would be timed perfectly to coincide with the new wind tunnel project if it were McLaren.
