G21 330i Touring Prices

I've been in the market for a G21 330i touring for about a year now and I can't believe how well they're holding their value.
After waiting very patiently for decently specced examples to start sliding towards the 30k mark I've given up on waiting and going to view a late 2019 example next weekend for a slightly eye watering £34k (YOLO and all that). I've just been on Totalcarcheck and have discovered the exact same car was up for just over £32k 2 years ago with 3k miles
Has anyone found themselves taking a similar plunge against their better financial judgement?
I wonder if the fact you can only spec 320i, 330e and M 340x now new has any bearing on these holding their value so well?
