Think I've gone mad, or the rest of the world has, with the car prices which I'm seeing advertised and selling. £18k for a 6 year old BMW 3 Series? £18k for a 7 year old A5? £16k for a 8 year old 2 Series? All sold pretty soon after being advertised. There are almost no diesels on Autotrader younger than 2016 plate (for ULEZ reasons) and sensible miles (80k) for less than £10k. My brother said his Golf has gone up in value by about £2k over the last 2 years, based on what people are asking for them now.

Crystal ball time, but is this sustainable? I knew second hand car prices had gone up, but they seem to be increasing more quickly now than before!
