Hoping someone can offer up some help with my current issue.

To give a little background on the issue, I have an E70 X5(CCC iDrive) that has the rear seat entertainment, when the rear DVD player is unplugged, everything works as it should with no faults, when the DVD player is plugged in, it flags up an SOS malfunction fault and disables the Bluetooth.

So I did some searching and learning, which suggested that deleting '612' from the VO would resolve the issue. So using NCS Expert, I went in and deleted '612' from both the CAS and the FRM, but unfortunately it has not resolved the issue and the SOS error is still present along with a lack of Bluetooth.
So after more research, my next port of call was to turn TCM_ALIVE_MONITOR and TCM_ID_MONITOR in the KOMBI to 'nicht_activ', however, when I loaded up the KOMBI into NCS Dummy, there is a complete lack of anything relating to 'TCM'.

So I'm now finding myself approaching a brick wall and really hoping someone could assist with some advice.

Was your TCM/BT replaced, why else would it trigger the SOS malfunction?
