I'm not a CarPlay fan

The last time I connected my iphone in a bmw as a Bluetooth device I think it was iDrive 7

When I navigated to the podcast menu it just listed them all in a random order. No series\episodes grouped in ascending date order like on many other systems

I believe this is quite a long standing issue with iDrive of old

I just wondered if this was improved in iDrive 8 or do people just select everything on the phone and use the car as giant headphones when using a Bluetooth only connection
