I've done a bit of racing over the last few years in entry level FWD cars, and intend to do a whole season of racing of the same kind this year. Can anyone recommend a race driving school that will help me to take a step forward in my skills? I'm happy to travel, but would prefer recommendations a bit closer to the south-east.

“The Motorsport School” based at Mallory Park but they have instructors based all round the country. Speak to Pete and/or Mel Edwards. Great people and great driver coaching (but don’t tell them i said that!)Do you have a suitable car to use? If you need driver coaching, then there are any number of pro or semi-pro drivers who will gladly take your money in order to observe and teach.
With any driver coach, its not necessarily how fast they are, but its how fast they can make you. A blindingly fast driver who can't explain themselves or identify weaknesses in your driving is no good compared to a slower driver who is great at explaining what they do and can spot the areas in your driving where improvements can be made.
