Unfortunately i think this is one of those well known long term issues on PH and short of demanding poster(s) change their username, someone in the thread just ends up having to be the one to correct the quote tags.
There's another user on here i've noticed many times over the last few years where the same thing happens due to a ? in their username - i think it's Who Me? or Why Me?. A number of people have called them out over the years, pointing out their annoyance that their username knowingly breaks the quotation chains in threads, but after a while it just becomes one of things you get used to.
