Reds

I looking at s2's and think i want red or black one (i changemy mind daily)- the thing is there seems to be 2 types of red that both look the same in the photos i have seen - Calypso and Ardent, are they the same?

Calypso red is the earlier flat red. I think pre 2003 - could be wrong. They are very similiar but probably not exactly the same.

It's hard to tell unless they're side by side but to my eye Ardent is slightly darker than Calypso.

my old tt was black and it looked great when clean - have a red golf right now its it never looks dirty. I might get black if i can persude my girlf to clean it for me!

Ardent is a 'bit' darker, Replaced Calypso in late 2002
