Just bought these tyres - has anybody had any experience of using these on their car? It's for a Mercedes SLK

They are well regarded tyres.

I gave F1 asy 5 all round on my focus ST and they do seem to grip very nicely in wet and dry.
Went a bit loose tonight in -2c whilst driving on ice but aoart from that just a good tyre.

I’ve had 5s on a warm hatch for years and recommended them to everyone, great tyre. The 6s are said to better.

I also had 2s on the back of a 545i. Great grip but the sidewalls were a little soft and the balance didn’t match the PS3 I had on the front.

Not had the 6's but I've had the Asymmetric 5s on a few daily drivers. They work well, not quite as good at the extremes of performance as pilot sports, but quieter, more comfortable and last longer.

The PS4S is ‘sportier’ but not the PS4.

What I like about the Goodyear besides the grip in all conditions is how quiet and good riding they are.

I have the Asy 5s on my 370z. They are an excellent all round tyre and as said the 6 is supposed to be an improvement on those.

They’re great tyres but surely you’d ask for opinions before buying not after?

I have the F1 asy 5's on the Alfa GT, probably the best tyres I have ever used.

Just put a set on my new to me CX-3 2.0

Transformed the car,

But then it was on 6 year old Pirelli eco tyres and Chinese triangle brand cheapo tyres.

Yeah, always best to use round tyres in my experience.

I've had a number of sets of F1 Asy's over the years. The 6's on my TTS are fine, except for a noticeable increase in road noise. They've done 10k miles so far and are getting near the markers.

Took the CX-3 down the A51 and much smaller twisty up and down hills on Saturday, these tyres are good and this small SUV lot less wobbly vs other small SUV's.

Almost no tread shuffle until being stupid.
