Looks a nice car.

Overpriced though.

Amazing car.....very cheap. Find another in that spec, you won't. Total steal at that price.

Two quite different replies there! Thanks though, much appreciated. Lovely car. Notwithstanding the spec, just a little full for me.

I would take the view that you need to weigh up whether or not you are prepared to pay such a premium ££ for the rarity of the very low mileage and high spec.

If you don’t like the newer 3.0 turbo engine or the touch screen generation 992 then it’s a great buy. Think they got the description of the steering wheel wrong however. I got the multi function switched out of mine as the paddles and little stick for the info control is much better.

I've had a 991.2 GTS and a 992 C2S. I really fancy some naturally aspirated pork. Told the engine/exhaust sound is superb! Fingers crossed.

Powerkit is an expensive option. It looks lovely and for the spec and mileage it’s not overpriced. Since buying mine (albeit a Carrera), I’ve noticed the prices for 991.1s on Porsche approved have moved up.

Is 11k miles good for an NA engine of that age?

Plus your in the ballpark of a 991.1 GTS…which surely has to be a nailed on future classic and prob the only reason I’d sell mine.

Thanks for posting - this thread is very light on 991.1 content for some reason.

Certainly a great looking example, spec is also really good/rare. I just wouldn't pay that for the experience of a .1 991.

Coming from the .2 what you gain from the engine you'll lose in the steering, I just didn't get on with it at all.

I think its a lovely machine and all this talk about price I think is largely a nonsense as is talk of gaining on power and losing something on the steering.
You are hardly going to drive this car at its limits every day in a Track Environment where even then , its limits if it has any would only be apparent to a Professional Driver . This is the problem with most Forums , a nugget of opinion gleaned from some obscure Road Test on Youtube is endlessly repeated as fact when its simply an opinion of someone with 5,000,000 hits on their Website . Stick your Lad or Mate in your current car , go and enjoy yourself looking and testing then make your decision . Time is passing and enjoying life is key .

With my Emira having landed it is potentially going to replace my 991.12S manual as a daily driver ..

but ....

but ..........

Not sure I'm going to be able to put up with missing that flat 6 howl and the masterpiece that is the 3.8 with Sports Exhaust .....

All of this! It's a fabulous car. If you like it, can afford it and want it, get it bought - you may kick yourself if you don't!

I bought a white highly specced 991.1 C4S with 17k miles instead. £7/8K cheaper and a credit to the previous owner(s). Save for the slightly grainy sat nav for a 10 year old car it felt like new and I wasn't disappointed after 992CS ownership. The flat 6 with PSE is wonderful and this just may be a keeper! Having said that I've said that a number of times before but early days very encouraging!

It might be nonsense to you but I shared the comment because it's relevant to the OP coming from a .2. The steering on the .1 just feels off, this isn't necessarily to do with the usual criticism regarding feel or on the limit driving, lack of feel to me is only an issue when it's wet or slippy so not the best time to be driving hard anyway, but I've never really liked how it weights up, it feels artificial and if you've been driving around in a .2 it's something that should be taken into consideration.

I have the same system in my 981 but it's not the same and every time I drive one i struggle to understand why.

They are quite sensitive to geo (and tyres and tyre pressures). I took mine to Centre Gravity - not was it only very educational, it really makes a difference. Mine turns in very sweetly, I don’t really notice any lack of steering feel or artificial feel

Incidentally Centre Gravity also said they are a lot better on Michelins Pilots vs Pzeros.

Thanks Jon. I put Pilot 4S on my 991.2GTS and it was transformational. I've got almost new PZero's on this one but when they're due I'll be swapping to Michelin without a doubt.
