Hi,

I've seen sellers on eBay offering items for 99p with free shipping. How do they do that as even the lowest cost way of shipping I know is more than that .

They don't pay the shipping company.

I've seen one nut being sold for 99p with free shipping. I suppose you can buy in bulk to get the cost of the product down to make the product cheap but it was the shipping part that I could not work out

Low cost item plus second class post makes it possible, if not especially profitable. I believe that Ebay require a free shipping option for you to qualify as a top rated seller, so maybe they do it for that and make their money on other products.

This - you have to stay in a narrow range to keep your trusted seller badge and discount. I used to sell AAA batteries for 99p / 4 delivered to get a quick 100 happy customers
