Can someone tell me what the difference between these three are? I try to eat a piece of fruit with my lunch (pretending I'm healthy!) and am on to these at the moment. I can't tell any difference myself, although some clementines have seeds in them

I don't know I like satsumas best though - I used to eat kilos the things. I was caught out by a joke once - parked up at the start of rally and went for a wander, came back and there were two satsumas on my roof - I was totally freaked out. It took me months to work out how they got there.

Well I never eat one straight after the other, so perhaps that would show up a difference. I don't smoke either I thought it was the seeds but I've just had a seedless clementine which got me wondering.

you mean it didn't occur to you that someone had brought them as a lunch and put them there as a practical joke?

All very similar, types of Mandarin:

Citrus

Mandarin

Satsuma

Tangerine

Most types of citrus are hybrids of just a few, they're developed for different characteristics of taste, juice, ease of peeling and harvest times.

Hope this helps,

The man from Del Monte.

They can all f**k off.

Big stalinist awkward oranges are what you want.

Tangermandasumas are far too accessible, dahling

According to my two year old and concurred by my four year old they are all "owinge". The only difference being "big owinge" or "little owinge".

Why are you trying to complicate the matter?

Just have a banana and an apple instead.

Oranges or whatever you eat are NEVER consitent over the seasons.

I have two Granny Smiths and a nice Banana with my lunch, but used to have an "orange" and an apple. I found after a week of forcing myself to eat banana's they are alot more filling and enjoyable to eat than frikkin "oranges" that either never peel or are dried up, or taste manky or are full of seeds!

Apples and banana's mate

Useless info time

A small orange (about five ounces) contains generous levels of folate (folic acid), potassium, and thiamin, as well as some calcium and magnesium

Ahh, you just need to know which varieties to avoid! [taps nose in annoying, knowing manner]
