Has Jeremy Clarkson been pulled - disgusted from Doncaster!
Discussion
I was just about to settle down to watch a re-run of PQ17 - An Arctic Convoy Disaster which is one of my favourite Clarkson historical programs.
I was delighted to see it on the listings this morning. Asked Alexa, to remind me set a schedule on the TV and even kicked the cat out early tonight so I could watch it undisturbed.
I switch the TV on 5 mins before it's due to start and it's been replaced by something about an old wall hanging!!
I'm adding 2+2 together here but has the program been pulled due to Clarkson being a bit of a pratt over that royal woman/actor person?
Maybe someone at the BBC had borrowed the DVD and forgot to bring it back before it was due to be broadcast.

Those are the times where a boorish TV presenter , increasingly past his sell by date , makes unbelievably crass remarks in a tabloid ?
Quite the opposite - times where a boorish once famous TV presenter makes crass remarks which possibly results in his stuff being pulled off a channel hardly anyone watches is probably more accurate. Some may be comfortable with that - I'm not.
I would prefer to live in a world where someone can say that my mother was a hamster and my father smelled of elderberries, without fear of punishment.
Of course - I've probably over reacted to this and was probably pulled because nobody other than me would have watched it and the BBC were just trying to put something better on.
The irony of my outrage when there is no evidence of any wrongdoing hasn't escaped me.

A bit similar but did you see this from the utter trash that is Julia Hartley-Brewer?
Disgusting reply in response to Greta. She's deleted it now and shown no remorse at all

Using autism to insult someone is scummy behaviour. Also backing someone like Tate is very odd especially for a women. Disgusting reply in response to Greta. She's deleted it now and shown no remorse at all

She will get attention for that post.

Trouble is, social media is full of that sort of thing. Shouting about some vaguely newsworthy person just encourages the rest. Everybody wants to be noticed. She will get attention for that post.
Just look at the peacocking in this thread, as the pro and anti lobby become increasingly frenetic and desperately entrenched.
Here you go, spend £2.50 and you can watch to your heart's content;

Well said C.F. I don't get how people don't see this?. It's all fantastic free publicity for all involved - Him, The Sun, H&M, His daughter etc etc....
It has all been covered to death in the other thread. People can't see how Clarkson fans can't see the difference in his comments this time.
There is nothing fantastic about the free publicity. Clarkson and The Sun embarrassed themselves running that article. They will gain nothing positive out of it. The Sun is gutter press already, but even they knew to pull that article.
It wasn't Clarkson's typical humour and stirring. It's a weak excuse people trying to excuse him by trying to claim it was. Clarkson went down in a lot of people's estimation.

Pretty funny that she deleted it then reposted it without the reference to autism.Disgusting reply in response to Greta. She's deleted it now and shown no remorse at all

Almost like she's pro free-speech and all that jazz until she realises it may have consequences (like that nice radio gig she has) then backtracks.

This post started with someone posting on Thunbergs social media that he had quite a few cars with big engines, and offering to send the list for her to peruse; nothing offensive, no personal reference to her, but if anything baiting.Disgusting reply in response to Greta. She's deleted it now and shown no remorse at all

She then replied with an email address indicating the guy had a small dick, no life etc.
Belittling / humiliating someone online is equally unacceptable whether its a reference to their physical features or their mental features.
Why did you not reference how Greta originally initiated this response?
Was Gretas original response acceptable to you?
Is it ok for her to try and humiliate someone online as she is environmental activist, but not ok for Clarkson as he is a dinosaur, or for the Brewar individual as you have labelled her as 'trash'? ( no idea who or what she does BTW)
Just asking as you posted that you found the Brewers response as disgusting then make a personal attack on her.
