Prison Vs. Work
Just in case you ever get these two environments mixed up, this
should make things a little bit clearer:
IN PRISON...........you spend the majority of your time in an 10 X
10 cell.
AT WORK............you spend the majority of your time in an 8 X 8
cubicle.
IN PRISON.........you get three meals a day.
AT WORK...........you get a break for one meal and you have to pay
for it.
IN PRISON...........you get time off for good behavior.
AT WORK............you get more work for good behavior.
IN PRISON..........the guard locks and unlocks all the doors for
you.
AT WORK............you must often carry a security card and open
all the doors for yourself.
IN PRISON...........you can watch TV and play games.
AT WORK...........you could get fired for watching TV and playing
games.
IN PRISON.........you get your own toilet.
AT WORK..........you have to share the toilet with some people who
pee on the seat.
IN PRISON..........they allow your family and friends to visit.
AT WORK............you aren't even supposed to speak to your
family.
IN PRISON.........all expenses are paid by the taxpayers with no
work required.
AT WORK............you get to pay all your expenses to go to work,
and they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for prisoners.
IN PRISON..........you spend most of your life inside bars wanting
to get out.

I know this is just a facetious parody but it's obviously been written by someone who's never been in prison especially a US prison.
3 meals a day ? meals, is that what they're called ?? has this person ever eaten prison food ? I think not.
You as an American should know that in US federal prisons there is no parole ie no time off for good behaviour. State prisons are different.

We have the liberal nuts awash around our prision systems, both State & Federal(our state prisions hold FAR more citizens). The rights of prisioners out pace the rights of victims by the day....please explain where you get your information about our prisons.

What have the liberals done for the federal prison population and is there a reference please or is it just what you've heard ? No worries if that's the case.

No problems, i will take your word on Club Fed; however, the State prisons hold the majority of US prisoners, not federal systems. The "rights" afforded them would sicken most people. Each state is different though, some to the extreme.
I frequently provide my juvenile criminal clients with the following written advice...
What's this? o
That's your arsehole on the first day of your sentence.
What's this: O
That's your arsehole after your first week.
Seems to reduce re-offending more than most government policies.

Yep no such thing as 'Club fed'. It's a popular myth that convicted businesspeople serve time in country-club-like facilities, segregated from street criminals.
Yes state outnumber fed about 10 to 1 I think, they're the real hardcore, murderers, armed robbers etc.

Correct. However, all things are relative and compared to state prisons, most federal pens are club feds. Of course there are minimum, medium, and maximum types on the federal level as well.
