Bit of a shock, wonder if the investors have forced him

And the Technical Director too..
Perhaps as they were keen on the old ways at Williams and were not entirely interested in a team run for profit by an investment banking outfit..?
All supposition of course! I'm yet to be convinced that their purchase of the team had anything to do with sporting ambition, and perhaps had quite a lot to do with knowing the cost caps and cost to register a new team would guarantee a return on their investment at some point.

I'd imagine Williams is for sale again, Dorilton will want to realise their investment and get out and at a guess will have made a killing in doing so given the ever lengthening queue of teams wanting to get in, Porsche, Andretti?
It's a pity in a way as Capito seemed to be doing a great job there, but that's why he's off, he'll pop up at another team, probably with a lot more money to play with and resources to use. Good luck to him, he's overseen William's rescue and earned any new role he gets.

Looks like Dorilton lost faith in Capito because of his hiring of the weirdly named FX Demaison who has royally fked up the car by all accounts. They are now looking at rebuilding the tech team AGAIN to take advantage of 2026 reg changes.
I think Jost has lost some of his magic myself. Good time for him to retire

His full name is François-Xavier Demaison, but just shortened to FX in the same way that David Coulthard sometimes gets shortened to DC.Hes an odd chap from what i saw of him
Sad for Williams as they seem to be set up for more years in Limbo waiting to get bought by a manufacturer
